This morning’s news tells of hundreds of thousands of protesters roaming the streets of Brazil. This comes on top of the religious war going on in Syria and the protests in Turkey last week.
And looking forward I can see something like this coming to America. The masses of the world will only take so much oppression and then they will take to the streets.
Current conditions in America are so similar to the 1920s that it is scary. Back then we had the greed of the wealthy getting out of hand and union membership at an extremely low level. This condition brought on the great depression, worldwide poverty and unrest amongst the masses.
Thankfully the people began to see the value of unions and union membership grew, not without some tragedy among the organizers up to and including death.
Corporate America has seen the unrest and is preparing to do whatever is needed to maintain their iron handed control. This includes both training and arming local law enforcement.
So now you see my “not a pretty vision”. Hopefully we can transgress through this stage without bloodshed and carnage but I am not closing my eyes to anything happening in the near future.
Hate to sound like an old fart predicting the end of the world but, many citizens of this world are unhappy with current conditions.
