Shortly after 8 am local time a gun toting individual started shooting innocent people in an office building in Washington D.C.

My first thoughts were “Where is George Zimmerman?” and then I remembered Zimmerman prefers unarmed teenagers or perhaps his wife to vent his anger and hostilities.

All the cable news stations got right on this “breaking news”. The conjectures were overwhelming but that is what we as Americans have come to accept as news.

Having my 4 year old grandson just stopping by for a visit I turned the tv off so I am not up to the last minute on this event.

It has been reported that the culprit is a black man dressed in black and carrying a “rifle”.

With local, state and federal swat teams surrounding the area the NRA is concerned with this man’s 2nd amendment rights.

They are working on a statement recommending all office workers be armed every day as the only way to stem this tide of gun violence.

The NRA also wants to remind politicians of their recent victory in the Colorado recall. Suggesting silence is the best action at this time if you value your job.

My heart cries today for the world we are leaving to our children. I am nearing a breaking point in regards to this senseless violence.

As of 12 noon grandson left and at least four people dead in D.C.

For shame, for shame.

    • Au contraire mon frere it is in fact an excellent title for a couple of reasons. 1. It brought this response from you. 2. There is a very good possibility that the nut job that did the killing felt threatened by those he killed. 3. It brings attention to the dumb as fuck law that allowed a grown man to kill an unarmed teenager and walk away with the blessings of his peers?
So I want to thank you for bringing more attention to the title.

  2. Did you know that the Navy Yard killer was arrested multiple times for violent crimes yet the prosecutors couldn’t be bothered to do their jobs?

A week prior to the killings, the Navy Yard killer called police multiple times trying to

That is why he was able to still hold a security clearance.

So how would denying the right to self defense to everyone but the rich and connected make people safer again?
